<TITLE>09. Par 30-32</TITLE>L-30 Don't think, setting there in a wheelchair, you, that you're hopeless, helpless. You're not. Don't let that negative thought ever pass through. Don't let it anchor. You can't help it from going through your mind (That's right.), but don't let it stop.
Like the old farmer said, "I can't keep the birds from flying over my place." But he had a double-barreled shotgun, said, "I can sure keep them from roosting." So you do the same thing, and you too. See? Don't let them roost. Let them pass right on through.
Now, here's the shotgun to use. Both New and Old Testament's a double barrel, very good too. I'll tell you, It keeps them all away.
All right. Blind Bartimaeus setting there with all this passing through his mind, "If I could've only been here when the great prophets come down the road and walked down towards Jordan. I'd have stopped them for a few moments for just a little talk, and ask them to pray for me. And I believe Jehovah would've give me my sight."

L-31 Now, all of a sudden, he heard a noise. You know, it's strange, usually when Jesus is around, there's a little noise around. You know, I--I kinda like that; kindly little noisy you know. And you know, the only way they could tell Aaron was alive when he went in behind the holiest of holies... He had on the hems of his garments, he had a pomegranate and a bell. And that's the only way they could tell whether he was alive or not, he was making a little noise in there.
I'm afraid we need a pomegranate and a bell again to add just a little--a little noise.
And so, usually where Jesus was, if it wasn't somebody shouting there was somebody fussing at Him made some kind of a noise going on.
So around the corner come a noise. And the first thing you know the whole place was--begin to get alive with people. And the old beggar setting outside alone... And it seemed like, way out, probably twice the distance of this tent here, was where the road runs down by Jericho.

L-32 And there along on the road was perhaps where the noise was. And there's people passing by and every... Some of them were screaming, "Away with Him, away with Him." And the priest hollering, "You hypocrite. There's nothing to You." And some of them hollering, "Hosanna, Hosanna." Oh, a mixed multitude...
But along there came the very Captain of the host of the Lord, that had met Joshua. Amen. Isn't He the Captain of the host? He was the Angel of the covenant, the Pillar of Fire that led the children of Israel. And here He was and here again come when the people were saying, "The days of miracles is past. All hope's gone," here come the Captain of the host of the Lord, coming by, just on the time. He always arrives just right.
